Cappagh is a family owned South-West London based contracting company that has been committed to serving the construction industry for 40 years. The company ‘Cappagh Contractors Construction’ was founded by Tom Ferncombe in the 1960’s and became registered at Companies House on 14th November 1973.

The company initially concentrated on supplying labour to the construction industry and then focussed on local civil engineering contracts, providing expertise for public utilities such as gas, water, sewers, highways drainage and ducting for the electric and telecommunications industry. He maintains a collection of over 500 clocks, ranging from antique grandfather clocks to large external turret dials, from Bakelite mantels to old French enamels, which he offers for sale or for hire.

 

Roger still frequents antique markets and auction houses at home and abroad and with the help of a small team of skilled craftsmen, will often enjoy reviving an old electric clock that has seen better days, into a fully functional clock using a modern quartz movement, while maintaining all the charm and character of the original.

Originally founded in 1984 the company is based in South West London and has manufacturing facilities both in the UK and Far East. The quality of our products is ensured through ISO9000 manufacturing and a two-stage quality assurance procedure.

Our substantial warehousing enables us to hold a minimum of 3 months stock for all major lines, ensuring a rapid response to distributor requirements. Orders are usually despatched on the day of receipt, unless scheduled orders have been agreed with the customer.

In the UK we work with major manufacturers and distributors. Our products are supplied to national carriers such as BT, Belgacom, OTE and Telia. We have distributors in Belgium, Germany, Greece and Holland and are always looking for suitable partners throughout Europe.

More than 50% of our turnover is derived from OEM/own brand services and we are very happy to discuss your requirements with you if this is of interest.

To fulfil our obligations as a B2B WEEE producer, we are responsible for the collection and/or recycling of our B2B units. To arrange for the disposal of our product(s) customers must email to b2b-weee@tuk.co.uk giving details of any markings on the item(s) such as serial or part numbers. We shall provide a returns number and arrange for collection of our items (for a nominal fee) or customers can return them directly to us.
