Utility Services

Utility Services is the stem from which Cappagh has grown and its continued success reflects the unrivalled depth of knowledge and experience that we are able to provide. We have listened carefully to our clients and have collaboratively aligned our organisation to meet with their requirements.

Investment in personnel development and training ensures that work is carried out to the highest standards. With all the ‘in-house’ resources in place to carry out planned and emergency works, supported by a fully systemised ‘Planning and Streetworks Notifications Centre’ and mobile technology, we are able to provide a 24/7 operation with an absolute key focus on speedy service recovery and excellent service delivery. Our own in-house ‘recycled aggregates’, ‘transport’ and ‘plant’ divisions provide us with further competitive advantage as we are able to provide a green, cost effective and unique integrated service offer.

In recognition of our track record to deliver what we promise, our client base has grown significantly. We now have a wide spectrum of clients ranging from individual private customers and small businesses through to prestigious contracts with Local Authorities and Major Utility Companies. We were recently delighted to be awarded our largest framework contract by Thames Water, where we now cover half of their total wastewater operating area for minor civil works and Developer Services connections.

Engineering

In response to the growing demand and operational expectations of our Utility Services Division together with the recognition by our clients of our wide range of capabilities to deliver larger bespoke Engineering Schemes, Cappagh recently set up the Engineering Services Division. This division specifically provides the necessary focus and enhanced skills required to meet the strict engineering standards required of us by our clients. The team comprises of our own qualified engineers, project managers and operatives, and most importantly enjoys the same level of 'in-house' support that Cappagh is able to provide to the Utility Services team.(Transport, Re-cycled Aggregates & Plant)

Recycled Aggregates

Recognising the responsibility of industry to minimise its impact on the environment, Cappagh has established its own recycling aggregates division, comprising 4 recycling centres. All equipped with state of the art plant and equipment, the recycling centres are designed to maximise the re-use of construction waste and therefore minimise waste going to landfill. Cappagh’s significant capital investment and foresight has bolstered its position as a major supplier of recycled aggregates to the construction industry and has become a key enabler in assisting our clients to deliver their recycled waste targets.
