And again an urgent reminder for next Monday:

We have tried to get the work carried out over the weekend but this was not possible.

The Riverside gates were made from a palisade type of fence with a single ram and while they have served us well for many years they have proved to be expensive to maintain recently, therefore they are being replaced with a better quality gate with double rams and narrow solid bars. In windy weather there will be less strain on the rams and less chance of damage.

For next Monday only ALL TRAFIC will have to use the gate outside Associated Pipeworks, the so called "Rosemary Road Gate".

ACCESS FOR LARGE VEHICLES: We have spoken to the Council to try to have the cars outside the Rosemary Road Gate removed to enable lorries to turn into the gate easily but they are unable to assist. They have agreed that for Monday only from 7am  5pm they will open the fire gate where Maskell Road meets Garratt Lane so any large vehicles can drive into the Rosemary Road Gate without having to navigate tight corners.

PARKING: I have spoken to Freight Forwarding and they have kindly agreed to park their vehicles where the road narrows near the Swan estate units on Monday. We would also like to ask for your co-operation at not double parking and if possible not parking outside your units next Monday.

Eddie will be working on Monday 7th to assist with traffic control but we would appreciate if you could assist us by ensuring the road outside your units is kept as clear as possible ALL DAY. Perhaps parking a couple of vehicles across the parking bays near the gate will stop others parking there but not to protrude too far into the road.

Any problems please contact David or Judith before Monday or see Eddie or David on the day.

Many thanks in advance for your co operation.
