Wandsworth Council is pleased to invite interested parties to the next Wandsworth Net Zero Partnership Roundtable, bringing together stakeholders from the public sector, business, and education to explore the challenges and opportunities Net Zero brings to Wandsworth.
Date: Monday 22 September
Time: 3–6pm
Location: Sambrooks Brewery, 1 Bellwether Lane, The Ram Quarter, SW18 1UR
This roundtable will build on the areas for collaboration identified during the May session at South Thames College. It will focus on success stories around Net Zero in Wandsworth — highlighting innovation, progress, diversity & inclusion, collaboration, and growth — and the positive outcomes, including carbon savings, equity, health, income, wellbeing, and job creation.
Wandsworth Council will send a calendar invitation in advance. They ask attendees to confirm participation, or share with a colleague if you are unable to join. An agenda and delegate list will be circulated in due course.
The Council is grateful to Sambrooks Brewery for hosting and for sharing their own sustainability journey. Sambrooks is located at the heart of Wandsworth on the UK’s oldest continuous brewing site, with roots dating back to the reign of Henry VIII. If anyone is uncomfortable with the choice of venue, please contact the organiser (Andrew Hagger, andrew.hagger@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk).
